I’m three weeks post-op and healing is happening. Life is full of the push and pull of recognizing my limitations. I can stretch my hands overhead but I have to sleep on my back still. I’m pretty independent but I get tired really quickly. I’m really bloated and I’m basically wearing a corset. My recall is really slow which makes complicated conversations hard. But I also feel more range of motion every day, closer to “getting my body back” (I feel very unfamiliar and out of reach to myself).
